The Hidden In Plain Sight display provides adults with clues from a teen's bedroom to help determine whether a teen may be experimenting with or using drugs or alcohol.
Adult learn the latest drug trends, discuss their findings in the display, and leave empowered with tools to start conversations regarding substance use.
Adults receive conversation starters. Research shows that kids who's parents talk with them regularly about substance use are 50% less likely to use.
"Thank you so much for the terrifying, yet much needed, education. It was by-far my favorite thing about the show." - Amanda D., 2018 Defiance Home & Garden Show
"Defiance County Drug Free Coalition offers an eye opening educational experience for parents, teachers and anyone who works with children. Hidden in Plain Sight heightens awareness to warning signs of at-risk behavior. Through awareness parents can be better positioned to get their children the help they need or even start a conversation that could prevent future use. Jessica Myers has done an amazing job with this display."- Jennifer Bergman, Prevention Specialist, Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio
